DESCRIPTION

The ADA Postpartum Doula Exam is designed to evaluate your comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in postpartum care, with a focus on culturally attuned practices. The exam includes a written component and a hands-on practical assessment in baby care.

Eligibility

Candidates must have completed an ADA-approved postpartum doula training program.

The exam must be taken at a designated location, proctor must be approved by ADA.

While prior hands-on experience in postpartum care is recommended, it is not mandatory.

The Certification Exam

The ADA certification exam assesses comprehensive knowledge of the study guide content and the objectives outlined in each curriculum. It includes both exam will assess hands-on baby care skills and a written exam.
